PolyFeed100
PolyFeedP100 is an automatic polymer preparation system designed to automate solution preparation and dosing of solid grade flocculants. Systems are available in a range of sizes for both small and large polymer applications where cost savings can be established through superior solution quality and reduced polymer consumption. The standard range is based on a modular all stainless steel design, adaptable to meet specific customer requirements.

Operating Sequence
- Powder is fed from the storage hopper via the screwfeeder into an accelerated air stream from the blower and venturi
- Air conveys the polymer to the wetting head where the powder is fully dispersed in water
- The dispersed powder/water solution is then agitated in a mixing tank for a predetermined time
- The polymer solution is transferred by batch into a storage tank and the cycle is then repeated
Polyfeed utilises a unique wetting head designed to ensure that all powder is dissolved in water and cannot escape to coat nearby surfaces. A PLC controller and a user friendly MMI interface provides accurate dissolution of solid grade flocculants every time. System capacity is dependent on solution strength, mixing time, volume of tanks, size of transfer pump and water supply.
Based on customer specific requirements our engineers calculate the most cost effective size of unit. The Polyfeed100 is capable of dissolving up to 10kg/hour of dry powder. Polymer preparation systems exceeding 10kg/hour are often fed from polymer in big bags. The MassBagBB range of big bag dischargers are ideal partners for larger capacity polyfeed units.
